Sludge/Noise at its best. Unrelenting riffs mixed with tortured vocals. This is a must listen, but stoke the volume well, and it will generate a wonderful blend of aggression and despair!

At it's best, this album gives way like the thundrous collapse of a mountainside, as evidenced by 400H's pummeling groove and vicious shrieks. Unfortunately, the group too often forsakes the song (and overall album flow) for sluggish noise devoid of any listenable aesthetics.

"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
